My monthly roundup is a short list of links to free or low-cost services, ideas, and articles that help make the job of building and managing a thriving ADR practice a little bit easier. This month, I’ve rounded up supplements and updates to ADR marketing and management resources I’ve shared in past articles.
Jott
In Jott Yourself a Message on the Run, I reviewed ways to use Jott’s free service to manage your to-do list and reminders. Vickie Pynchon has now added her own twist to Jott with the article, Keeping Track of Your Time with Jott. Jott has also introduced a few short videos by users who talk about how they use them.
GrandCentral
I first wrote about GrandCentral in February and my enthusiasm remains strong, as noted in a follow up, Universal Phone Numbers from GrandCentral. TechCrunch’s Quick Guide to GrandCentral provides a nice, straightforward overview of key features and how to use them.
On Business Cards
In two articles I shared ways I put my business cards’ reverse side to good use, first in Article Clipping for Clients, and then in The Secret of Successful Business Card Exchanges. An additional idea comes to us by way of attorney Jim Calloway’s What’s On the Back of Your Business Card?
A while back I wrote about GetHuman, a free directory that helps you navigate corporate phone trees more quickly and get a human on the other end of the line. In Bringo: Phone Tree Killer, TechCrunch reviews a free service that helps you locate the company you want to talk to, type in your phone number, and a few of minutes calls you to connect you to an operator at that company. Whoa.
Cheers,
